Choosing the Right Lock

For commercial buildings and enterprises:

Salto KS is the best choice for offices, coworking spaces, and commercial properties. It offers enterprise-grade access control with centralized management, real-time monitoring, and scalable user management through the cloud-based Salto KS platform.

For residential and rental properties:

igloohome is ideal for homes, vacation rentals, and Airbnb properties. The offline access code feature (algoPIN) allows you to generate codes for guests without requiring internet connectivity, and the no-drill installation makes it perfect for rental properties where modifications may be restricted.

For budget-conscious installations:

TTLock platform locks offer the most variety and competitive pricing. With multiple manufacturers producing TTLock-compatible devices, you'll find options at various price points with features ranging from basic PIN entry to advanced biometric authentication.

Do you need internet connectivity? Most glass door locks require a gateway or bridge for remote control features. However, igloohome locks can generate offline access codes that work without any internet connection. TTLock locks need their gateway paired for remote features, and Salto KS requires the IQ hub for wireless connectivity.

What glass door thickness do you have?

  • 10-12mm glass: All three brands support this standard thickness

  • DIN 18101 standard doors: Salto XS4 is specifically designed for this standard

  • Single vs. double panel: igloohome and TTLock both support single and double panel configurations
