Enabling Remote API Access for My2N

Last updated: January 8, 2026

What is Remote API Access?

Remote API Access (RAA) is a setting on your My2N account that allows third-party services like Seam to communicate with your 2N devices. It's disabled by default and must be enabled by 2N before you can connect your devices.

How to enable RAA

Send an email to integrations@2n.com with the following information:

  • Subject: Enable Remote API Access

  • Company ID: You can find this in the URL when logged into My2N (e.g., my2n.com/companies/1 → your company ID is 1)

  • Request: Ask them to enable Remote API Access for your company

Example email

To: integrations@2n.com
Subject: Enable Remote API Access for Seam Integration

Hi 2N Integrations team,

Please enable Remote API Access (RAA) for our company.

Company ID: [Your ID]
Company name: [Your company name]

Thank you!

What to expect

2N typically processes these requests within 1–2 business days. Once enabled, try connecting your My2N account again.

Next steps

After RAA is enabled, you'll also need the following to complete the connection process:

  1. Use a Company Admin account with multi-factor authentication (MFA) disabled

  2. Enable HTTP API on each device you want to control
