Connecting Your Salto KS Site to Seam

This guide walks through connecting your Salto KS site to Seam so you can manage access through your Seam-powered tools.

Before you start

Make sure the following are in place:

  • Site Admin rights — You must use a Salto KS web app account that has Site Admin rights.

  • Production environment — You must use a production account, not an "Accept Environment" account. Check your dashboard URL: the subdomain should be app (for example, https://app.saltoks.com). A subdomain of app-accept means an Accept Environment, which can't be connected to Seam.

  • Released sites — Your installer must have released your Salto KS sites. Seam can't perform actions on unreleased sites.

Connect your site to Seam

  1. Open the Connect Webview from your Seam-powered tool.

  2. If you're shown multiple brand options, select Salto KS.

  3. In the Enter your credentials dialog, enter your Salto KS web app username and password.

  4. Select the Salto KS sites you want to integrate with Seam.

  5. Click Allow and Continue to let Seam add the admin user it needs for the integration.

  6. Click Close.

Important: Do not suspend or remove the Seam Integration admin user from your Salto KS site. Doing so will break the integration.
