Why did my Nuki account disconnect from Seam?
Last updated: June 18, 2026
If your Nuki account has disconnected from Seam, your locks will temporarily stop responding to commands like creating access codes or locking and unlocking. It's usually quick to fix.
Why it happens
When you connect Nuki to Seam, you grant Seam permission to manage your devices. That permission can stop working for two common reasons:
You changed your Nuki account password.
You, or someone on your account, revoked Seam's access from within your Nuki account.
How to fix it
Open the connection flow where you originally linked your Nuki account.
Sign in to Nuki and approve access again.
Your devices will come back online and resume working normally.
If your account keeps disconnecting after you reconnect, reach out to support and we'll help you investigate.
