Lockly: Intermittent Connection Issues

Issue: Lock intermittently shows as offline or cycles between online and offline status.
Root Cause: This is typically caused by network interference or weak signal strength between the lock, hub, and router.
Troubleshooting Steps
1. Move the hub and lock closer together
Improve the connection between the lock and hub:
Move the Lockly hub closer to your WiFi router
If possible, relocate the lock closer to the hub
Remove or reduce obstacles between the lock and hub (thick walls, metal objects, other electronics)
2. Factory reset and reconnect
If moving devices closer doesn't resolve the issue:
Factory reset the Lockly lock (refer to the lock's manual for specific instructions)
Reconnect the lock to the hub through the Lockly app
Test by verifying the lock maintains a stable online status
When to Escalate
If the issue persists after these steps, escalate to Lockly support. The problem may require investigation of the network environment, router settings, or potential hardware issues with the hub or lock.
