Salto KS Lock Loses Access Code Support

If access codes stop working on a Salto lock that previously supported them, this is likely due to a known firmware issue with the Salto IQ hub.
During a reboot, the IQ can lose a configuration bit that identifies the lock's device model. When this happens, the lock is mislabeled internally and access code functionality is disabled.
Resolution
Present the maintenance card to the affected lock. This restores the correct device model configuration and re-enables access code support.
Salto has confirmed a permanent fix will be included in an upcoming IQ firmware release soon.
Until then, use the maintenance card workaround if the issue recurs after future reboots.
