Igloohome lock compatibility with Seam

Use this quick guide to understand what each Igloohome device can do with Seam.

What each device type supports

Bridge-compatible locks can remotely lock and unlock, generate customizable online access codes, update or delete codes, and report their status—but only when paired with an Igloohome Bridge.

Non-Bridge models (including many padlocks) support offline access codes (algoPIN) that can be time-bound or one-time use. These models don't support remote lock/unlock or online status reporting.

How the Bridge fits in

Only specific Igloohome locks can pair with a Bridge. A single Bridge supports up to five compatible locks, and remote features are only available for locks that support this pairing.

Quick guidance for assessing compatibility

Start by asking for the exact device model. If they're expecting remote actions or online codes, confirm the lock is Bridge-compatible. If they only need offline codes, most models will work.
